Cranberry Walnut Scone Mix
6 Delicious Fresh Baked Scones in about 30 minutes.
Inside each scone mix are 2 components -- a flour mix, and a separate ingredient pouch. The whole thing is very easy to pull-off.
Berkshire Grain Gluten Free Scone Mix
5 tablespoons of butter, unsalted
1/3 cup of milk (fate-free is ok)
1/2 teaspoon of GF vanilla (McCormick's markets a vanilla extraxt that is GF)
Directions: Dump flour mix and butter into a food processor and pulse for 2-3 bursts for 20-30 seconds ~ there should be no chunks of butter, and the butter and flour mix should be combined. Place the flour butter into a medium bowl and set aside. Next, hand beat the milk, eggs, and vanilla into a frothy mix around the edges. Pour the liquid into the dry mix, and fold in with a rubber spatula, turning and pushing into a ball. The dough is done when all dry mix has been incorporated. Divide the dough into 6 balls and place on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Flatten gently with the palm of your hand to about 3 inch diameter. Baked for 15-17 minutes; Scones are done when browned on bottom and a slight golden around. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
Easy right? That's all there is to it.
